Learning from the Mistakes of Others: Theological Pitfalls to Avoid with Young People

Course Description

Drawing upon the stories and experiences of high school teens who’ve struggled in making sense of their Catholic faith, this course will help catechists and parents examine a number of problematic theological positions that can contribute to young people losing faith in God. We’ll look at how bad theology can sometimes be the result of misused expressions (ex. “Everything happens for a reason”) or sometimes the result of misunderstandings of the faith itself.
